O Extravaganza no Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf Extravaganza) representa o auge de todos os eventos sociais programados e realizados durante a Soccerex Convenção Global. No Morro da Urca (Pão de Açúcar) uma festa imperdível, uma noite de gala exclusiva com vista para uma das paisagens mais belas do mundo: a Baía de Guanabara. Como parte da noite de entretenimento, celebramos o 40º aniversário da grande conquista do Brasil na Copa do Mundo de 1970, foi a terceira vez que o Brasil recebeu o Taça Jules Rimet e não parou por aí. Os membros do que foi considerado ‘o melhor time de todos os tempos’, liderado pelo grande capitão e embaixador da Soccerex Carlos Alberto Torres, foram homenageados na noite do dia 23 de novembro que foi inesquecível.

The pinnacle of the social events at the Global Convention is the Sugar Loaf Extravaganza. A party not to be missed, this exclusive evening will be held on the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain overlooking the neighbouring 'Baia de Guanabara' (Guanabara Bay). 1,000 top level executives were transported by cable car to a night of networking, socialising and samba. As part of the 2010 event the evening’s entertainment celebrated the 40th anniversary of Brazil’s famous 1970 World Cup win – the third time they had won the Jules Rimet Trophy, which allowed them to keep it for good. Members of arguably the ‘best football team of all time’, led by their captain and Soccerex Ambassador, Carlos Alberto Torres were be honoured in the presence of the trophy at what was an unforgettable evening.
